TAKEOVER • DAY

What an unforgettable day for our Year 6 children as they stepped into the world of work for our annual Takeover Day!

For the morning, the children shadowed staff members across the school, taking on a variety of important roles and discovering the skills, teamwork and dedication needed to help our school thrive

We had new site service officers, teachers, teaching assistants, admin staff and even a catering manager! The children embraced every challenge with enthusiasm, confidence and maturity, making the most of this fantastic opportunity to experience different careers firsthand

Throughout the morning, they demonstrated responsibility, resilience and excellent communication skills, showing just how much they have to offer. They represented St Gregory’s beautifully and never ceased to amaze us with their willingness to learn and give everything a go

Takeover Day is always a wonderful opportunity for our children to develop independence, build confidence and begin to think about their own aspirations for the future. It was a morning full of smiles, learning and memories that will stay with them for years to come.

We are so proud of each and every one of them. Well done, Year 6!
