Ready For A New Year

After two days of training, reflection and preparation, St Gregory’s is ready to open its doors once again to our wonderful school community!

Our training days have given us the opportunity to pause before we look ahead — to reflect on everything we achieved together last year and to give thanks for the many successes we shared

We helped children belong, nurtured talents, celebrated strong academic outcomes, championed the whole child, developed our oracy provision so that our children have a voice, and embraced every opportunity to bring the Catholic life of our school alive. What a year it was!

But now, our journey of school improvement continues. We have reflected on our promise that “Diversity is a fact, inclusion is a choice that we make every day” and how we can continue to advocate for every child, whatever barriers they may face

We have looked ahead to the implementation of our new RE curriculum and how we can make it truly come alive at St Gregory’s, alongside continuing to develop our teaching and learning so that every classroom is built upon talk, challenge, discovery and creativity

And finally… our classrooms are ready. Lovingly prepared to welcome our children back tomorrow and become their little home for the year ahead

Here’s to tomorrow — fresh starts, new memories and another opportunity for every child to shine
