Welcome to Year 5!
I am the class teacher Miss Standen, and I am looking forward to the amazing year we have ahead of us, supporting children both academically and to help them achieve their God-given potential.
During the course of this academic year, the children have many exciting opportunities to widen their knowledge and understanding, as well as deepen their connection in faith through our engaging curriculum. Throughout the year, the children will explore the Tudors and Victorians, be introduced to the magic of Harry Potter and fascinating story of Macbeth, as well as developing an understanding of the world around us.
I can’t wait to begin a fantastic year, filled to the brim with memory making opportunities here at St Gregorys.
Year 5 will do Athletics and Basketball in PE on a Monday and Wednesday this term (Autumn 2024). For more information about PE kit requirements and expectations, please visit our uniform page.
