St Gregory’s Phonics Rationale 

Early Reading

To supplement our teaching of Early reading, we use the DfE approved scheme ‘Phonics Shed’.

This is used from EYFS through to KS1. Children who are still in need of Phonics teaching in KS2 are taught using the ‘Catch Up’ element of the scheme.
